Why Shift to Fujairah from Dubai?

An expat from Australia who moved to Dubai with his wife and 2 young kids late last year is “finding Dubai to be ridiculously expensive and like one big construction site” so they are considering moving to Fujairah.

He asks: “Does anyone know what it’s like to live there?”

We love to visit Fujairah when we can and I'm sure we'd consider living there, but what about jobs?

You raise a good point about jobs. The population is increasing and so are the jobs in certain fields.

I am not sure whether the original post implies living in Fujairah and commuting to work for the days when work cannot be done via a computer and phone. Many are now doing this. it is a little more taxing to make the drive but lifestyle might be much better for a family.

"One of the most important reasons is that U can still enjoy the best of both worlds. Its very easy to get from Fujairah to Dubai."
