As to how long it takes, it depends on you.

The start of the race will be just behind the Sadaf Restaurant (or the Hilton Hotel end of the Corniche)

There will be three choices of route but time depends on whether you walk or run:

i) Participants can choose to go up to the first U-turn just past the Marina (ship-shaped building) and come back to the start line (approx 3 km). This could be 30 mins.

ii) The turnaround point for all participants is the third U-turn after which participants will return to the start line (approx. 5 km). This could be 40 mins plus cool down

iii) Those who wish to complete the run will do the loop again (approx 9 km).

The routes will all be clearly marked with volunteers at each turnaround.

There is no compulsion to have to do one route or the other. Make your mind up as you go. There are no medals awarded, no times recorded, no calories counted. Everybody is a winner for taking one step and participating.
